Build Virtual Reality Apps

Skipfour LLC provides various services to customers– for example, websites, games, and apps for both IOS and Android. However, their specialties include virtual and augmented reality.

Both VR and AR are similar in the goal of immersing the user, but they do this in different ways.

With AR, you can interact with objects that aren’t actually there. For example, you could place select items that exist on an AR platform (most often applied through a smartphone) throughout your home, in a park, or in public spaces. You can even have an AR pet living in your home, or an AR dragon soaring over your local park, for example.

And with VR, you can let your imagination run wild. You can walk on the moon, swim through the ocean, run through the forest to admire nature. Anything. Skipfour can help you create the land of your dreams, and you can be a part of it. Perhaps you even choose to share it with the world, one VR headset at a time.

The difference between the two, however, has to deal with how much of the setting is made up, and how the fabrications are accessed. When dealing with VR, the individual is part of a complete immersion experience that shuts out the real world by way of headset. But when working with AR, digital elements are added to a live view often by way of a smartphone.

Augmented and virtual reality are the turning points in technology, and are just a glimpse into the future.

With augmented reality, individuals continue interacting with the real world and virtual objects around them. You can build a hidden society inside of the one you already live in; AR lets you fabricate a part of real life.

In virtual reality, it’s all animation. You can turn visions into a reality with just a few simple words. You could play with family and friends, give yourself a good scare with horror-related clips and games, or even become Sherlock Holmes and discover the dark secrets that lie within the walls of a home.

But that’s not all they’re good for.

Virtual reality may be great for having fun, but it can also educate people about what is going on around them, and teaching them what needs to be done. There is pollution in the ocean by items we discard– oil rigs, soda cans, metal sheets, plastic, etc. There is poverty all around the world, starving children and adults alike; a single trip through a documented VR experience can open the eyes of countless people who could lend a helping hand.

People can learn what happens beyond media coverage. People can learn what actually affects the world, and what will make those terrible situations better.

There are many things that can be accomplished with AR and VR. People as a whole can solve problems if we work together; we are the world’s only saviors, and we must start now. Our planet and our people need us just as much as we need them.

If you have an idea, may it be big or small, Skipfour can help you bring to life for you and your customers. Skipfour can help you bring that fantasy to life.
